Top 200 Schools With Highest Number of As in UACE 2023

As the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) unveiled the official results of the 2023 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations, attention turned to the top-performing schools across the nation.

With a keen focus on the schools that excelled with the highest number of As, here is a glimpse into the top 200 institutions that shone in the UACE 2023 results.

Leading the pack is St. Mary’s SS Kitende, standing tall with an exceptional total of 350 As. Following closely behind is Mengo SS with an impressive 347, while Uganda Martyr’s SS Namugongo secured a notable third place with 278 As.

Gombe SS Butambala claimed a solid 220 As, and Seeta High School rounded up the top five best-performing schools with an impressive 200 As.

In this grading system, each A represents the highest grade in the UACE exams, carrying 6 points. This is followed by B, C, D, E, and O, with 5 points, 4 points, 3 points, 2 points, and 1 point respectively. Schools earning an ungraded score are represented by F, indicating zero points.

The UACE 2023 results highlight the dedication and academic excellence of these top-performing schools, setting a high standard for education and achievement across Uganda.
