MTH3: COMPOSITE FUNCTIONS

Composite Functions

Two or more functions may be combined to form a composite function. e.g. A VIDEO ABOUT COMPOSITION FUNCTION

The inverse of a function

The inverse of a fucnion takes us from the range book to the domain. THE VIDEO BELOW ABOUT THE INVERSE OF FUNCTION

Note:

For the function gf(x) to be un defined the denominator must be equal to O. THE SINE RULE

1. The sine rule enables us to calculate the sides and angles in triangel s where there is no aught angle. A VIDEO ABOUT SINE RULE

THE COSINE RULE

We use the cosine rule when we have either

1. Two sides and the included angle
2. All three sides To find the length of a side we use the following; When solving a triangle in which two sides and the included angle are given, first find the third side by the cosine rule then you can use the sine rule or cosine rule to find the smaller of the two unknown angles.
