Articles  A, An and The

“A” is used before nouns that begin with consonants and these nouns must be in singular i.e. A baby, A monkey, etc.
except for the word uniform.

“An” is used before nouns that begin
with vowels e.g. An insect, An owl, An eagle, etc. Lule
eats an egg.
