ASSIGNMENT

Qn. Why is the cornea curved?

To refract light rays.

Qn. Why are images formed at the blind spot cannot be seen?

    There are no rods and cones.

Qn. Why is the choroid black?

     To prevent internal reflection of light.

Qn. Although the eye forms inverted images we see them as upright. Why does this happen?

   They are corrected by the brain after interpretation.

Qn. Why does the eye form upside down images?

  It’s because light travels in a straight line.

  • Iris
  • Lens
  • Pupil
  • Retina
  • optic nerve

 

  1. Which part of camera has the same function as the iris?
  2. What causes short sightedness and how can it be corrected?
