Gerald Businge is an award winning Multimedia Journalist, communications specialist and ICTs specialist in Uganda. He is a Lecturer of Multimedia Journalism and Digital Communications at Makerere University’s Department of Journalism and Communication, and the Managing Director of Ultimate Multimedia Consult. He has more than 20 years’ experience in communications design, capacity building training, documentation, knowledge capture and knowledge management as well as creation and adoption of relevant information and communication technologies for development. Gerald Businge is one of the two African Representatives in the Digital Development network, a consortium of academicians and development practitioners coordinated by Sheffield University to study the role and issues of technology in development. He has trained and consulted in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Malyasia, Yemen, South Africa, United Kingdom, Zambia and United States of America.
