ENG/P/2: FORMING PLURALS OF IRREGULAR NOUNS

An irregular plural noun is an irregular noun in the plural form. An irregular noun is a noun that becomes plural by changing it’s spelling in other ways than adding an “s” or “es” to the end of the word. This change can happen in a variety of ways.

Irregular plural nouns

Irregular plural nouns are nouns that do not become plural by adding -s or -es, as most nouns in the English language do. You’re probably familiar with many of these already. For example, the plural form of man is men, not mans. The plural form of woman is women, not womans.
