STARTING WORD PROCESSING

This unit is about starting Word Processing, file extension, and Commonly used word processing keyboard shortcuts.

Three ways;

  • Click on start, all programs, Microsoft Office – Microsoft Office Word 2010

(Click on the office button- save as – desktop – file name e.g. Basilar Amos – Save)

  • Open your folder, right click, choose new, click Microsoft Word Document.

(Type the name of file e.g. Basilar Amos and then press the enter twice to open it)

  • Open a word support file and then save it as your names in your folder.

The file extension of word document is .doc or .docx
