Senior Four Mathematics Learner's Book is developed in response to the new competence-based Lower Secondary Curriculum for Uganda, developed by the Ministry of Education and Sports of Uganda (MOES) under the National Curriculum Development Centre of Uganda (NCDC) and launched in 2020.

The Course is a result of extensive research from several credible Mathematics resources, as well as input from experienced teachers and experts.

Senior Four Mathematics Learner's Book entails: •

  1. a competent, active, and learner-centered approach.
  2. appropriate and accurate content.
  3. adequate and relevant activities and projects that trigger discovery, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and inter-activity.
  4. acceptable, appropriate, standard, and grammatically correct English, which encourages vocabulary development as well as correct representation of technical terms.
  5. accurate, relevant, clear, and adequate illustrations that enhance learning
  6. intuitive methods, illustrations, activities, and projects that have been explored to instill the principles of Mathematics.
